Discerning scene musings from the princess of East London!

Are we in the time of year when seemingly everything merges together? Feel like you’re on a party comedown but the disco round is calling? Feel like you’ve got proper things to do but you’re just saving them ‘til the New Year??? Oh ma gawd, so do I…

Fancy a bit of art? You know I do! On Thursday 7th November there are two things to peruse… a group show entitled DRAWING at M.Goldstein, 67 Hackney Road. Artists William Farr, Louise Gray, Liz Johnson Artur, John Maybury, Matthew Stone and Julie Verhoeven are cramming their works into DJ and curator Pippa Brooks small but perfectly formed gallery space. Then I’m thinking a trip to a private view at New Arts Projects which is Soul DJ Fred Mann’s gallery at 6D Sheep Lane, E8. A solo show from multi disciplinary artist William Selden who is presenting his painterly and modernistic works. Also on ‘til 21st November. newartsprojects.com
