Fancy an evening where the stage is set within a restaurant? Then catch A Man To Pet as they host a night of performance and music in the swishy surround of Hoi Polloi, 100 Shoreditch High Street on Friday 18th from 8pm till 1pm. I’ll be joining this conceptual dining experience DJing and making a cameo appearance with a royal theme. Book a table or hang out at the bar to catch a piece of the action.
Later on Friday, head to C O M M U N I T Y ft DJ’s Hannah Holland, Pxssy Palace & Wes Baggaley at Styx, 5 Ashley Road, N17. It’s a fundraising party celebrating our LGBTQ+ scene and raising money for a new LGBTQ+ community centre. From 8pm till 4am join performers including The Nightbus, Katayoun Jalili, Rhys’ Pieces, Maxi More and Manly Stanley.
Then at The Glory, it’s time for Stella’s Hottest Meltdown Party on Friday 18th with Stella Meltdown who is joined by Frieda Slaves, Bimini, Lynks Africa and DJ’s Jacqui Potato and Cozette till 2am.
Sedition and Shutdown is also on Friday 18th…it’s the weekly night where music, performance and club life meet for ‘a spectrum of techno, electro and experimental ideas’ from 11pm till 6am. DJs Warboy, Lewis G. Burton and Jeanie Crystal will be in the ‘Beat Factory’ room, while I’ll be joining Max Allen in ‘The Salon’ for an electroclash special! Impromtu performance from Karnage and door host Dahc Dermur VIII.
We’ve been waiting for this! Lavinia Co-Op takes to the stage at Southbank’s Purcell Room for a show ‘Up Yours’ on Saturday 19th May at 8pm. It’s an hour long show directed by Ginger Johnson.
This Saturday 19th, Baby Lame returns to The Glory for Shit Show at 8pm! After, 10pm till 2am, I’ll be DJing with a host of shows in between, everything over the two floors. Special guests Rubyyy Jones, Crystal Beth, Lasana Shabazz, Benjamin Butch, Carmen Mon Oxide and Lady Noelia.
Up at Dalston Superstore on Saturday 19th May, A Man To Pet’s Royal Boys a welcome return of Pet’s themed night Basic Boys which returns for a right royal knees up. DJ’s Pet Piss, Terry Vietheer, Disco Drama, Tenton Chase and Fannar! 9pm till 3am.
Then On Sunday 20th, it’s time for another moment at The Glory with my regular night Princess Julia Loves from 6pm onwards. Special guest Sue Gives A Fuck who will be performing throughout the evening!
A special mention to the Femmetopia Festival: Deeds Not Words starting from Wednesday 23rd to 27th May at VFD. Happenings galore over five days, with special performances, workshops, screenings and lively debate!
